Hello! I just found your blog last week and wanted to tell you that it has been a breath of fresh air for me. I have a 4 month old daughter Sunny and I just recently discovered the world of Waldorf and it's really starting to change my life! I'm starting to read all of the books and I feel so blessed to have found this while Sunny is still very young. I just wanted to stop in and say hello. I have a blog that I write in sometimes..it's teatimewithchapins@blogspot.com . We are planning on homeschooling and I'm defiantly going the Waldorf way! Thanks for the inspiration. Love&Light Michelle

Hi Shelly,

I've been reading & enjoying your blog for a while now. I live in Denmark, and my kids attend to waldorf school and kindergarten. And I work in a waldorf kindergarten myself. I find a lot of inspiration in "the american waldorf-way" - and I definitely find a lot of beauty in yours!

Our local Steiner school still has one of these for sale on the shelf, as well as several other figures that have since been discontinued. They told me that children are slowly becoming less interested in playing with such simple things. How discouraging! My kids are BIG Ostheimer fans!!!

I lost the blog map I took to get to your blog - from one person's online journal to another through various links... So glad I found it though, I have a 2 1/2 year old who is recently obsessed with knights - not the violent side so much as that moment when a person becomes a knight.
Looks as though I'll be spending a little time wandering through your archives! ~H
