well, i'm not sure how it happened...but somehow i left out a very special baby of maya's, sleepy baby, in my last post. maya quickly pointed this out to me. so i decided to retake pictures of our cherished doll family again (since the last picture was a bit dark anyway)...

Woohoo, another wonderful Waldorf family. I happily stumbled upon your blog and wonder if I may add it to my sidebar? Many thanks!

Dear shelley
Thank you for sharing your beautiful blog with us.
I love your hats, the combination of beautiful colors and clean work make them so unique.
Also thank you for sharing the gnome I have made for you with every one
You choose his colors-that is why he is so unusual
I love it! Those dolls look so well loved and they are beautiful! Did you make all the knitted items, the colors are stunning.
We have a collection of Waldorf dolls as well (mostly made by me), I just adore them. Maybe I'll do a post to show them off too!
all of the doll's clothing was knitted by me or my sister, as well as a few other friends. i am going to be offering some similar knitted doll clothing in my second etsy shop, waldorfmama.etsy.com, in a few weeks...so check back in you are interested. :) and yes, everyone please share your own waldorf dolls! lizz, you started a trend. :)

I LOVE the knitted outfits!! they look so warm and cozy. you just want to hug them
What a beautiful doll and family and gorgeous little girl! Loving your blog and I will be back. Your Waldorf home is so inspiring and I'll be visiting your new etsy shop (Clara, the doll I made for Edie, needs a winter outfit) Is Maya going to Waldorf or will you be homeschooling? Totally my head space right now deciding. But thank you for visiting me and I'm hooked on your blog now! ~ Kathy

hi kathy - thank you for visiting my blog! likewise, you are on my blog list. :) i hope to have my other etsy shop up and going in the next few weeks. i'll make an announcement here in my blog when i do. :) as for the schooling issue, we intend to send maya to the waldorf school - a lovely small school out in the country. she is only 3 so we won't be sending her to the kindergarten until she is 5. i did, however, homeschool all 3 of my older children and loved it. i would be happy to dialog about it with you, if you like. just send me an email. :)
shelley,
it's a wonderful feeling knowing that my dolls are living with such a loving family:o)
They are gorgeous, and I love their knitted clothing! I'm hoping to make something that beautiful one day...
thanks boo and meike! and goodwitch, yes...of course you can add me to your sidebar. :)
