This is a special picture, very beautiful. I am sure it will help you very much to promote your nice hats. Here in Germany mothers also like this kind of hats. We call them devil's hat. I learned how to knit them when my daughter was born and have knitted to many since then. Every newborn child in my surrounding gets on. Next week I will teach knitting these hats in our waldorfkindergarten.

maria - thank you! and it is so wonderful that you knit them are are teaching other waldorf mamas! i agree...these hats are much more common in europe. i was taught the pattern by a dear german friend's grandmother long ago and all of my children have worn them. it is my favorite style cap and i hope to make many more, through my shop, for babies around the world. :)
