well i've really been enjoying taking pictures of some of the things around our home lately. setting forth in mindfulness to see the simple beauty in many of the things we play with and enjoy each day. so i was inspired to start a new flickr group this morning, which i have named 'waldorf home'. a place to share photos of the places, spaces and things with which we choose to surround ourselves. i've invited a lot of my flickr friends to join in the fun. so by all means, if you are on flickr and have any photos you'd like to add of your 'waldorf home'...please feel free to join us!
on that note, here are a few more photos from around our home...

shelley - i can't believe your ostheimer collection. it's fantastic!
martha - yes, indeed we do have quite an ostheimer collection. i've been collecting for over 20 years. :)
The photo pool is very beautiful and so inspiring. Thank you for setting it up. Ah, but your own weblog is beautiful, a realm balm for the soul.
I have always loved your images, what a treat to share more!
Your knitted waldorf dolls are just beautiful - did you make them? If so, would you mind sharing what pattern you used? Thank you for sharing your pictures, how inspiring!
anonymous - yes, i made the little knitted nature table dolls you see in my recent photo...although it was many years ago now! i did not use a specific pattern, i just made it up as i went along. :) i've actually been meaning for some time to make these again to sell in my waldorfmama.etsy.com shop, but just haven't set aside the time to do so. hopefully soon!
shelley thank you so much for expanding the beauty of your blog to waldorf home on flickr, both are such soothing places to visit
I have been really enjoying the flicker group photos, thank you for starting it. Can you *please* give me a source on the birthday ring that is shown in your sidebar? I've never liked birthday rings much, until I saw that one!

I love these photos. We have a lot of these things put up now as my daughter gets older, the donkey still hangs around on our nature table. They are such treasures, they are hard to let go of...always thinking there may be one more to come along and play with those things. Now the nature tables and special corners are filled with beautiful things my daughter makes. Just as beautiful, but a slightly different mood.
Please do make the knitted root children for your shop. They are lovely! Might you also consider offering sources for how to make some of the lovely paper lamps you show?
