peace on earth...

deepak chopra and david simon led their second 'global peace meditation' yesterday. a one-hour worldwide mediation for peace, harmony and love on the planet. hundreds of participants with deepak and david in california...were joined by thousands more meditators around the globe. with the collective intention of creating peace in the world. and peace within.

in this time of choice for our country, i hope we all look within. and unite together, as one, with the vision and intention of peace for our country and our world...

i couldn't agree with you more. i have two brothers-in-law in the military (and my husband is a former marine) and everyday I think about how much things need to change and how much peace is needed.

Thank you for that.

shelley~ thank you so much for including the peace dove in this beautiful post. i hadn't heard about the meditation yesterday but have felt the most loving urges to pray for peace this week and over the past year. i feel there is so much love we haven't even begun to explore here on earth...it is said that we only use 10% of our brains, perhaps the rest of our brains are directly connected to our hearts and souls...
much love to you dear friend

Thank you for posting this Shelley! Like Martha I too think about this everyday. My husband is in the USAF. It's almost his turn to go back over to the war again :(
I needed this!

well said. that is such a lovely photo.

i have participated in a few global peace meditations or chanting groups and it is a powerful feeling to join so many focusing on one message of love and peace at the same instant...you can almost feel the energy from it all, circling and spreading. :)
