ostheimer play...

i just happened to come across these two older photos today that i had taken of our ostheimer nativity shelter, one day after maya had been playing with it. i love the way the light falls on this scene. and the peaceful serenity and comfort i feel in being able to provide such natural and imaginative toys for her.

maya's room is really a peaceful and joyful place to be and, as requested, i plan to take a few more pictures to share later this week.

yours in joyful play,

shelley

I am loving the sun and the crinkly bright pink quilt... and the wooden toys always add such a warmth.
So cozy!

Shelly,
Where do you buy your Ostheimers from?Do you have a good source?
We used Michelle at greenmountainorganics for our farmhouse and she gave the best price by far.
I love the little owl perched up on the top:0)

We have a similar locally made set, but there is a certain lovely indescribable something about real ostheimer pieces. Thanks for sharing your photos.

You really do have the best Ostheimer stuff. I'm envious. I'm waiting until the next mounted knight comes up to enter your contest. LOL!

I just love the look of Maya's room - we are moving Munchkin into a new room soon and your blog pics have been my major inspiration.
